Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the No Contact Days mobile app, website, and related services, including nocontactdays.com. By using No Contact Days, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.

1. What No Contact Days is

No Contact Days is a self-guided app for tracking no-contact days, writing unsent thoughts, receiving stage-based reminders, and drawing oracle-style reflection cards from Lumo.

The app is designed for everyday reflection and habit support around no contact. It is not a professional service and should not be used as one.

2. Not medical, mental health, legal, financial, or crisis advice

No Contact Days does not provide therapy, counseling, diagnosis, treatment, medical advice, legal advice, financial advice, crisis support, or emergency services. Lumo cards are symbolic reflections only. They do not predict the future, determine what another person feels, or tell you what to do.

If you feel unsafe, may hurt yourself or someone else, are experiencing abuse, stalking, threats, or immediate danger, or need urgent help, contact local emergency services, a crisis hotline, or a trusted person right away.

3. Your responsibility

You are responsible for your choices, actions, communications, and relationships. You agree not to rely on No Contact Days as a substitute for professional advice, emergency support, or help from trusted people in your life.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction, to use No Contact Days. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the app only with permission from a parent or guardian.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use No Contact Days to:

  • Harass, stalk, threaten, manipulate, exploit, or harm another person.
  • Create or request messages intended to provoke, guilt-trip, punish, deceive, or manipulate someone.
  • Seek emergency, medical, legal, financial, or crisis advice.
  • Upload or enter unlawful, harmful, abusive, hateful, or infringing content.
  • Attempt to bypass rewarded ads, rate limits, safety systems, or access controls.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, overload, attack, or interfere with the app, website, backend, AI features, or ad systems.
  • Violate any law, regulation, third-party right, app store rule, or platform policy.

6. AI-generated content

Some features may use AI to classify questions or generate oracle-style card text. AI-generated content can be incomplete, inaccurate, inappropriate, or not suitable for your situation. It may not reflect our views. You should treat it as symbolic reflection, not fact, advice, instruction, diagnosis, or prediction.

We may refuse, redirect, or limit certain prompts, including prompts involving self-harm, violence, stalking, emergency situations, professional advice, manipulation, revenge, or message-writing intended to break no contact.

7. Rewarded ads

Some features, including Ask Lumo, may require watching a rewarded ad before a card is drawn. If an ad is not available, fails to load, is cancelled, or is not completed, the feature may not generate a card. Ad availability is not guaranteed.

Ads may be provided by third-party advertising networks or mediation partners, including but not limited to Google AdMob, Pangle, Liftoff, and other providers.

8. App content and saved data

You are responsible for the content you enter into the app, including notes, unsent writing, questions, and saved cards. Do not enter information that you do not want processed by the app, backend, AI providers, ad partners, analytics providers, or service providers needed to operate the app.

9. Intellectual property

No Contact Days, Lumo, the website, app design, text, graphics, illustrations, logos, icons, card designs, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, modify, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works from them without permission, except as allowed by law.

10. Feedback

If you send us feedback, suggestions, ideas, or requests, you grant us permission to use them without restriction or compensation.

11. Third-party services

Your use of No Contact Days may involve third-party services such as app stores, ad networks, analytics providers, AI providers, cloud providers, and payment or subscription systems. We are not responsible for third-party services, their content, availability, security, or policies.

12. Changes to the app

We may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of No Contact Days at any time, including features, content, ad-supported access, AI providers, pricing, or availability.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to No Contact Days if we believe you violated these Terms, used the app in a harmful or unlawful way, attempted to bypass our systems, or created risk for us, other users, or third parties.

14. Disclaimers

No Contact Days is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and reliability.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, emotional distress, relationship outcomes, or other intangible losses arising from your use of or inability to use No Contact Days.

16. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from your use of No Contact Days, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless local law requires otherwise.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of No Contact Days after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
